The Subdivision of the East Deck Property will be discussed at a work session of the East Hampton Planning Board tonight, 6:30 PM at New Town Hall, 159 Pantigo Road.
Please attend and comment if you can. As a work session, there is no guarantee they will allow comments, but they probably will.
A memo from the town's Planning Department staff to the Planning Board suggests the Board not allow ANY structures in the conservation easement. That memo an be found here. This is good, but the Planning Board needs to hear from the public as well. We need to make sure this is adopted as part of the Subdivision. The decision will not be made tonight as this is a work session, but voicing support for no erosion control structures will help. There eventually will be a Public Hearing on this and we need a big turnout for that so stay tuned.
