The Surfrider Foundation Eastern Long Island Chapter is excited to announce that we're bringing back our paid summer internship positions for 2026.
The intern will be supporting our clean water and plastic pollution initiatives through a variety of activities, including:
We are looking for someone with a background in marine conservation or environmental studies, who also has a passion for environmental education and outreach. Skills like public speaking, writing, and social media experience are a plus. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling in busy East End traffic. Members of the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities are strongly encouraged to apply. Applications will be accepted until March 12.
