Long Island, NY Surfing Access Near Montauk Point Lighthouse

Surfing is currently restricted around the Montauk Point Lighthouse. The Chapter has been in discussions with the NY State Dept of Parks and Historic Preservation to open up legal surfing. The surfcasters are the main opponents to surfing access. The Chapter has successfully defended tickets in court given for surfing in the park.
