If find yourself walking the ocean beaches in the Wainscott area, you may see signs of a more sustainable future coming soon.
A very special boat is making her way to the South Fork. The Lift Boat Jill is currently en route to begin working on New York's first offshore wind project. This project will provide clean energy to over 70,000 homes annually. The Jill's home port is in Louisiana, but will be making a stop in Bridgeport, CT later this week before stationing off Wainscott for the winter. We are stoked to see that clean energy is literally on the horizon!
