2nd Annual Heavy Beach Cleanup!

Come lend a hand and a truck to help clean up the heavy fishing and industrial debris that has collected on the North side of Montauk Point! Work off that Turkey Day bulge.
We need people with town beach driving permits to help get the trash off the beach. The parks department is waiving the state driving restrictions for trucks.
Meet at the parking lot opposite the snack bar at 9am for a 2 hour+ clean-up during low tide.
Parking fees will also be suspended for those participating. We will be cleaning up industrial and commercial fishing trash; bring work gloves. Surfrider will provide plastic gloves. If you plan on coming with your truck, please let us know: pclairep@earthlink.net
