Our budding education program continues to grow with a presentation at Havens Beach in Sag Harbor. We are looking to bring this program to more local schools and students this Fall.
Colleen met with a group of kids and their mothers at Haven's Beach in Sag Harbor this week. She discussed the local sources of pollution and everyone get to try their hand at collecting a water sample using our Blue Water Task Force methodology. The field trip ended with a lively discussion of how the kids and their families can help keep our local waters and beaches clean. A good time was had by all.
