The Eastern Long Island Chapter is excited to welcome our new Chapter Coordinator, Jenna Schwerzmann! Jenna is a Stony Brook University graduate and has previously worked for the Peconic Estuary Partnership and Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program. Her experiences range widely from horseshoe crab monitoring, shellfish restoration and research, to marine mammal conservation. Her most recent opportunity led her to Cape Cod to work for the Marine Debris and Plastics Program at the Center for Coastal Studies. Jenna is excited to return to Long Island to focus on conservation issues on the East End. We are thrilled to have her as part of our team.
